Message From Headmaster

A long and action packed first Term draws to a close and students
and teachers are no doubt looking forward to their holidays.
There have been too many highlights to go through them all,
but thanks to all members of the Ascot community who have
contributed to so many school events that have been very enjoyable.
Throughout the Term I have been very impressed by the students’
confidence, motivation and general conduct. As I go around
the school I see great industry and a lot of happy, smiling
faces. Credit should go to our excellent teachers and assistants
and I wish to thank them all for their hard work. Our ‘back
up’ team does a marvellous job as well, keeping Ascot
looking good and running smoothly. The displays around the
school are as good as I have seen anywhere. Thanks also to
our very supportive parents, without whose support our job
becomes much harder.
Please see two separate messages accompanying this newsletter,
one being about residential trips and the other highlighting
some key dates in January/February.
I hope that everyone has an enjoyable holiday time. Very
best wishes for 2008.
