Our Saturday morning program is a unique facility which provides an excellent additional learning opportunity for students.
The Saturday program consists of Active English, Art, ICT and School of Rock. All students participate in each activity.
Active English English lessons are pupil-centered and encourage full participation. The children develop essential “Life Skills” and gain experience in using English in a variety of practical ways and scenarios. They also study English speaking countries and cultures.
School of Rock These creative music lessons are based around the focus of playing with others in a band, rather than as an individual. A specialist music tutor and professional performer will plan and teach these lessons.
ART Our art lessons are designed to be fun, involving and highly creative, with an emphasis on “hands-on” practical work.
ICT Pupils have the chance to improve their understanding of the internet and their use of different software programs. They also develop their research and analysis skills by compiling reports on a range of topics via Web Quests.
AIS’ Saturday School starts runs over a 12 week period each term and is initially open to pupils in Years 1 - 6. The program runs from 0900 to 1230 and includes a break with snack. |
